About Dorit Sasson

Mission Statement
Dorit’s primary mission is to help educators grow and develop as master teachers and leaders in the teaching profession in order to empower students to be lifelong learners.

Dorit Sasson, the Founder and Director of the New Teacher Resource Coaching Center, is an experienced writer and educator specializing in K-12 and university second language education. As the author and creator, she is dedicated to the goal of helping teachers integrate their English language learners successfully.

Dorit is a thought leader to teachers who want to empower their students – one step at a time! She helps teachers uplevel their
teaching and their success. Her speciality is presenting workshops for
teachers of English Language Learners and issues of new teacher support. Her latest signature workshop and current book focuses on collaborative strategies between ESL and general education teachers for the sake of ELLs and many of these strategies are currently being used in a number of school districts across the nation.

Dorit is a teacher’s teacher. Participants in her professional development sessions report, “I can’t wait to get back to my classroom tomorrow and use what I have learned!”
